My first meathook!

nevers, who is taking a Facebook break this month and can't see it there. Your description of how to do it did help, thank you! I'm not sure what I was missing before, but today it was straightforward. I'll be adding these to my "normal gym" routine on straight-arm days, I think. :-)
The Ant also did his first straight-arm handstand press today, making it a good day for firsts. I am definitely feeling envious. He's been working on them for so much less time than I have! Grrrrrrrr. Next handstand group lesson for me is tomorrow, next semiprivate is Thursday... must get back in the game.

Date: 2013-01-07 01:46 am (UTC)I've seen pictures of people doing more of a pike and reaching for their toes with the free hand. I could almost certainly do that, next time, now that I have the basic move. If what you say is true, maybe that's even easier!
