Skin... not so nice this month. My prolific dairy-eating in Montana may have had something to do with it (working theory: lactose has a 12-hr-delay effect that can be countered by Lactaid, and then there is maybe also a longer-term effect). Or maybe Montana itself breaks me out. Then there was my period, and there were the three bites of cheese I ate -- unprotected, during the run-up to my period. I'm not sure what I expected, if not the Zit Of Unusual Size that I got. Sigh. Calm down, skin! I've started on retinol cream (not Retin-A yet, just retinol) and I know that tends to temporarily increase irritation too, so I'm just being patient and non-dairy.

I've also lost more weight. Under 125 now. Still the dairy thing? What? Why?

On a more cheerful note, I ordered an eight-foot beanbag today after lots of online research and going to a Lovesac store with [livejournal.com profile] norwoodbridge. It will take 2-4 weeks to arrive, and several more weeks after that for the pretty sea-green cover to arrive. I will wait patiently.

Hypercube grows. She is enormous now, tiny spotted kitten turned into 6-lb behemoth.

And difficult things continue to be difficult, and handstands continue to be good. Yesterday for the first time I kicked up on my own, did four shoulder shrugs and came down -- all under control, spotter never touched me. I like all these little firsts.

from what you've said, your skin problems sound more like small boils than pimples. I've had a couple of boils in the last few years, not on my face thankfully, and they hurt & are super gross.
just in case it's a clue.
sounds like the dairy thing is effective, if annoying.
