Well, color me surprised. Big lug Scooper, who hates committing to anything, is up for doing a duo acro act with me in the LCS student show. I guess he's collecting unemployment and not in that much of a hurry to move away at the moment, though he insists that he might get a great job offer at any moment and have to pull out of the show.

Anyway! We have a shitload of material to work with. If I can keep him from trying to be wildly overambitious, and work mostly with refining the tricks we have, we should be able to put together a good and rather high-level act over the next ten weeks.

Semiprivates for this, required semi/group "privates" for the handbalancing act, and suddenly my September/October are looking a bit insane. I'm going to drop my usual acro classes in order to give myself one more night per week to get work done. The shakeup will be good for me.

Oh, speaking of acro: last night was my first time doing pitch with half-twist to foot-to-hand out of lines. And also my first time doing pitch to back tuck, in lines. Eee!
