flexagon | Some good things

1) We think the vet's scale is a lying piece of shit. Nala is nine pounds according to our scale, and she seems well fleshed out to me. I think maybe she's okay.

2) My skin's been cleared up again, reasonably so at least, for a while now. A small excursion into the world of dairy earlier this week (at a fancy French restaurant) was accompanied by Lactaid, and I got away with it.

3) I did a PSA Facebook post about acro safety and now my conscience is a little bit more clear. It's hard, because the message is not "don't do what I'm doing", and it's also not "this high-level stuff is only for people who can afford lots of line-time". I just want people to know that I do, indeed, try to do things safely. (Try. Not perfect.) On which topic, handstands YAY. It's not so bad, being on the ground.

4) I went to a wedding last weekend and was reminded of the existence of renttherunway.com, which remains a brilliant idea -- if there's a fancy occasion, it sounds perfect to rent a fabulous dress and then not have to worry about when I might wear it again.

5) I have today off work! Still not sure whether I'm going skydiving with
