flexagonIt's kind of unbelievable, but I have yet another cold. I went to get my hamstring mashed on by my favorite massage therapist guy today, and he noted this long string of illnesses and asked whether I'd been stressed or depressed. Ha ha -- yes. Although, as mentioned, a lot of the stressor went away with extreme suddenness 11 days ago, leaving me disoriented and relieved. He noted that things like stress and grief can kick an immune system into low gear, in which it pays attention to really core stuff but doesn't so much step up to the little things like keeping a person from getting sick. Hmph... how do I talk it into high gear again? I know part of the answer is to sleep a lot, which I have indeed been doing. Not stressing much about being behind at work, either.

A big presentation went well today at work, and I got a new skirt and two new tops in the mail. One of the tops looked online like it had a natural waist, but in person turned out to be empire-waist and way loose/fluttery below that. Back it goes. That was the blue one; the pieces I'm keeping are both solid black. Speaking of palettes.
