I had lunch with HLM yesterday (after not seeing him since Sunday morning thanks to the stupid show he's playing cello for) and ugh, I just feel teased. It does seem he still exists, which is nice, but does he have anything to do with me? Dunno... and that's why I hate prod week, hate it hate it hate it. On the plus side, I've gotten a lot done at work this week. Phoo. :b
Last night I killed time nicely by doing TKD, then grabbing dinner at Christopher's with AJ before crawling into bed with a Redbook. I was thrilled that my injured elbow, which screamed at me after forms class last Friday, didn't even twinge--perhaps I'll be back to normal workouts now. That would be nice... and might enable me to figure out for sure whether the extra poundage hovering on my body is actually (as I begin to suspect) muscle. See, I've actually never gained muscle while not losing fat before, so lifting has never affected my weight. The last time I had a major lifting rampup, I lost some inches in some places while gaining muscle in others and the scale needle held steady.... but that was all upper-body. Then, several years of hangin' steady. Now that I'm seeing a lot of strength increase in my legs, I have been wondering when it would start to be visible, or weighable, or even noticeable outside the weight room. Well, I still can't see it and my pants still fit fine, and my belly is not overly soft like it gets sometimes--the scale just says I'm heavy.
aykroyd suggests keeping a record of my leg measurement for a while to be sure. Perhaps I ought to. I hate being confused!
Tonight I go to see the show HLM's been slaving for all week, hopefully with

jg26, and then--joy!--get to go out with the cast and crew. So I'll be up late, but at least I'll get to see him again. I miss my bug, I miss my bug. I'm a wimp when it comes to these things.
