Yesterday boring, today's looking better

flexagonYesterday was boring. Most of the workday spent staring at one bug that I never did quite figure out, then the whole evening doing chores. I think the best part of it was when I was a few minutes early meeting A at the grocery store, nipped into the discount clothing store next door to it, and found a pair of Express jeans in my size for $20. I nabbed them. I'm wearing them. They're sexy. :)
A also got his new wedding band in the mail--he'd returned the old one to get a different shape. He was trying it out, and at one point last night he was wearing it while I didn't even have my engagement ring on. How scandalous. Later on he and I were reminiscing about when the grubs (his black cats) were small. I barely remember them as kittens and in all my memories it seems like we'd just gotten together at the time. Turns out we had just gotten together, just a year before that. Sheesh. I remember when a year seemed like a long time.
Anyway, off to take advantage of the fact that I'm unstuck at work.
