More extra money...

flexagonLast night we got our first wedding present in the mail, $500 from my dad, sent early so we'd have it for our Europe trip (on which I promised it would be spent). I didn't expect him to send so much. I feel guilty. I have more money than he does already. But I took it straight to the bank, because it would be a lot worse not to take it than to take it.
Today I'm wearing capris and my hippie sandals (seriously... they're 100% hemp ones I picked up at a pro-marijuana rally last year). I suppose I'm courting that early spring cold, which I shouldn't do. Now would be a bad time to get sick, right before a biz trip and vacation. Speaking of which, I really need to make a list of the stuff I need to take... I just ordered the train tix we need to get from Frankfurt to Venice, and yesterday I figured out how to get from Gatwick to Heathrow on our way back home (kind of an evil connection), so I think all the big things are taken care of. How nice; that clears the way for the little things to bite me in the butt. :)
Oh yes, my code compiles now. Access violations right and left, but that's far better than the state it was in yesterday.
