flexagonIt makes me suspicious that just as I formed concrete plans to pick up the old sketch pad, I stumbled upon this. Uh, universe... are you trying to tell me something? ;) Ah well, I don't care. I pencilled a new comic last night, and wasn't sure how funny it was, but when HLM read it he laughed! I felt so good. Never mind that it needs some serious work done before it goes to ink, scanning and coloring... I sent my characters out jogging, see, and little running figures turn out not to be part of my artistic lexicon yet.
Today's big for me... it's the last working day (er, well, officially--it's shaping up to be a fun weekend) before I have to fly to VA to give a demo of my work, plus the TKD test is tonight. Jitter jitter bzzzzz, I want my blue belt. I'm considering taking a month off sometime soon, actually; last year I took June off, and it definitely crossed my mind at the time to do that every year. Recharging is good.
