Doing someone a favor isn't always easy

andycomment's birthday party on Friday... the problem being that I have no such boots. I set out to remedy this, but the only cute pair I found at zappos was loaded with user comments like thank god I found boots that fit over my thick calves and whoa, these are way too big, they must be made for people with thick calves. Sighhhh... so I tried to stop at the cheap shoe place in Porter Square, I mean, whups, the one that used to be in Porter Square. What!? I could've sworn it was still there over the weekend. No more. :( So tonight I'll try DSW, but if that doesn't work, I give up.
Yesterday I had a nasty sniffly drippy cold and today I (rather spookily) feel a lot better. I don't think the cold can possibly have run its course so quickly. I think it's just lurking and trying to get me to do something stupid.
