• My online classes are disappearing one at a time. There's only one weekly handstand class left, and my Thursday evening flexibility class is going away after next Thursday. I can likely scoot my schedule around to take something online from micahwalters.com for backbends again for at least a while, with some effort, but I miss the convenient evening classes.


• I bought a stupidly expensive goth/punk dress, after having it open in a tab for weeks and weeks, as a celebration of something. If I don't like it in person, it's going back. I bet I will though. I've gotten to see a shirt from the same manufacturer in person, and it's high enough quality.


• Perse and Helios closed on their new house!!! That was an epic hill-climb. But my happiness isn't just based on empathy, it's also that the new house has a date room that's 99% for Helios and me, and I get to help decorate it. OMG. That is going to be so much fun.


• Went to the dermatologist for my stupid back rash, which cleared up almost entirely on one side of my back and went leaping happily to new areas on the other side. They were indignant on my behalf ("whyyyyy?") and gave me oral antibiotics to try, and also took a shallow biopsy. Perhaps we'll get more data soon? It's kind of astonishing that I've been dealing with this thing for a year now.


• I took Friday off, mostly in order to stare into space and take care of my brain. I did my 2 big workouts of the week on Friday and Sunday though, and pressed a handstand from 9" on Sunday.


• I bought climbing shoes on Saturday, and then later wound up at the Franklin Park Zoo Lights which were simply magical. A 164-foot-long glowing phoenix lantern is something to behold! Humans haven't really come that far -- bright lights in the darkness can still fill us with wonder.


• I am being pulled in about 3 different directions at work and I am so tired.

Oh yay, that's good! If a bit stabby. Yeah. Hopefully as time passes we'll all rack up some good memories there... fingers crossed. You should definitely go over to play music in that great room at some point, because the acoustics are a lot of fun.
