Porchfest, Mad Max

flexagonFairly restful weekend in which I got my usual stuff done, despite a couple of extra time sinks. No major news from any direction.
Saturday the bug played at a local Porchfest (I brought a picnic blanket and my laptop, and got some useful things done). Then I had a good long date with the squirrel in which we played a lot of Animal Well, and I took off pretty quickly the next morning because they were all doing Father's Day stuff over there and I figured I should leave them to it.
Sunday I hung out with a circus friend I don't see a whole lot. It was nice to catch up, and we ended up watching Mad Max: Fury Road because neither of us had seen it. Not quite my usual sort of thing. Still, I appreciated some of the humor (and the, uh, war guitarist?), and now I'm clear to see Furiosa with the bug, which I want to do because of Anya Taylor-Joy.
We didn't calculate our Q2 estimated taxes on time, sigh. That should have been due on Saturday and I don't think either of us thought of it.
