My Dale Carnegie teacher finally called me back about me being a potential team leader for a class this summer. Honestly, I had thought this opportunity had pretty much evaporated over the last few months... but apparently not. She has a new class starting on June 16 that she didn't realize she was going to have, and she wants me to be a team lead, and I opened my big mouth without rubbing two neurons together first and said I'd do it. Oh, god... I'm not sure I can handle the energetic pumping up again... although if I do happen to be starting a new job soon, it would help remind me of all the little things to do right with my coworkers, and I'm gonna mention this to the guy I just interviewed with, too. All I know for sure is, my summer just went crazy and I just committed to the exact opposite of chilling out and thinking things through.
