I decided to get medieval experimental in the bathroom last night at 1 AM after a late return from T's game night, and that's why the medicine cabinet is sitting on the floor (practically ripped to pieces) and there's a 24" construction-paper circle on the wall where the 24" round mirror is going to be. It's a quarter-circle each of red, blue, green and yellow, very pretty. Unfortunately it won't work to put the sconces we bought on either side of it... too wide. Hmph. I'd say six more inches would make such a difference, but I suspect that's the case for a lot of bathrooms, and if I had six I'd just want another six.

I also ripped two holes in our wall with a claw hammer to see what was behind the drywall. SO CATHARTIC. If anyone out there needs to vent, be aware that tearing into a wall is quite effective. :)

I also experienced a "what should I wear to work tomorrow" crisis that I had to go shopping to resolve. I inherited a beautiful blouse from RC last week, but it won't be done at the cleaner's until Tues night (*snivel*) and I don't own any khakis. However, now I have a cute little sweater to wear tomorrow for my first day, and a black-and-grey striped cotton shirt that I almost bought two of, it's so perfect. I may yet go back and get another, actually, perfect shirts being as few and far between as they are. And hopefully, tomorrow will prove that jeans are just fine as far as pants go.

My squat record went up by 10 today... wheee! I think I'll go back to inching up by 5s, possibly after holding steady at this weight for a week, but I'm close to my goal now. Sooo close. I also maxed out the calf machine for the first time ever. Sigh, I suppose this is why the scale says I'm heavy. Must... ignore... stupid... scale.

Yep. Destroying walls is great fun. A friend bought an old house he wanted to restore. We ended up with sledge hammers, a piece of wall, and dust masks and set to work. Then were rewarded with home brewed beer. All very relaxing.;)

Ugh, hope it was good enough to consume. :p Not too many home brewed beer actually taste that good to be considered a reward. :)
