Goodness, all you LJ-friends seem so good about reading the real news and so forth. I thought of you today, and therefore went to CNN today for the first time in... I have no idea how many weeks. I very rarely read the news. Sure, it's addictive because every day it's something different, but: it's often uninteresting, when it is interesting there is always a huge slant toward the depressing (because that's what sells), and if something is going to affect my life I'll be told about it anyway.
