Oct. 12th, 2004 08:10 amToday, waking up with the heat on, is the first time this year I understood completely that it's on its way to getting really cold, and it will snow in the not-so-far future. Time to start thinking about a new coat, and buy the rugrats candy for Halloween.
HLM wrote a screensaver in the last couple of days that's probably cooler than my latest idea. I'm both proud and jealous.
I can hamstring curl twice as much as I could a month ago (before that I couldn't do that exercise at all, because it hurt in a weird way behind my knees).
I can think of about five things I should have done yesterday, but didn't.
Life is, in short, its usual mishmash. I'm wearing my knee-high boots to work though. That's fun. :)

Date: 2004-10-12 05:18 pm (UTC)Just hope that HLM doesn't give it one of those weird names like "Ruby" or "Java" and comes up with something cooler. ;)

Date: 2004-10-13 12:18 am (UTC)HLM's language name is unfortunately not cool. However, the language itself is universal (cool). Not bootstrapped yet though. Partly because he's been distracted writing a game he thinks he can sell, and partly because he's been making money to help feed my voracious appetite for condo remodels.
I'd've had a hard time marrying a non-engineer, although I know cross-geek-level marriages happen all the time.

Enjoy the knee-high boots, I'm there with you in spirit. :)

Date: 2004-10-13 11:08 am (UTC)I still run it too... but of course I made it just for me, so it's no surprise that I would like it.
