Forget serenity... GLUTAMINE NOW!!!
Nov. 13th, 2004 11:24 amOooooooh right. Power yoga being not for the wimpy. Suddenly I remember this, now that my legs are all quivery and threatening to hurt quite a lot tomorrow.
What is good: the teacher saying now let yourself be supported by this pose. Feel yourself being taken care of by your own awareness. This is nice, I like the idea of not just taking care of myself, but being taken care of by myself. And I like little nuggets of wisdom in general.
What is bad: so much bending backwards of the wrists and hands, and no corresponding forward bends. This bothers my right hand especially.
What is ugly: the dripping sweat... so much dripping sweat. And then back out into the cold again. Maybe not the best in deep winter, though not a problem today.
