New Tori album!

Well, I've had a shitty second half of the day. Work dumped all over me, and snowstorm --> late busses --> missed yoga class. Which is too bad because I really could have used it.

However, HLM just gave me the most wonderful present ever--a new Tori Amos album that I had no idea was out. Are the rest of you as out of it as I am, or did you know this and just not think to post about it? It's called The Beekeeper, which factors amusingly into my recent thoughts. I haven't listened to it yet, but I'm oh-so-excited anyway.

I didn't realize it even existed until very recently -- and then I wigged and ordered it from Amazon. I've listened to a few of the songs. It's interesting, as all her work is. I think this one will take me a while to digest.

The newest Tori Amos album is supposed to be interspersed with a series of stories by Neil Gaiman that together make one big tale.

I wonder if that one is it.

Nothing on its Amazon page mentions Neil Gaiman at all... must be something else.

I just ripped a whole bunch of cd's that motospeedfreek brought in for me. Among them were 3 from Tori Amos. It's no secret that I'm into girly folky things. Since I got so much music, I haven't gotten to them yet, but am looking forward to it.

Looks like I'm way behind. It was Strange Little Girls that he wrote the stories to accompany each of the chars.
