Little good things

Over the last 2 days I've unpacked and set up my new Dell... funny, I've already forgotten the technical specs of the box itself (fast and big, of course it's fast and big, seems as if one can't buy a new computer that isn't fast and big.) Oddly, the one relevant dimension of my new 20" flat-panel monitor remains in the forefront of my head. Pretty. I could've gotten the 24" and I did think about it, but the 20 is awfully nice too. Playing the Sims 2 on this thing, if I ever get around to it, is going to be a joy.

Then, also over the last two days, I found out that grrwoo randomly sponsored me to get into childfree30plus, a very tightly maintained and low-drama comm that tries to weed out the overly excitable young but will bend its rules if a member recommends a person. That was really nice of him! My plan is to hang out there for a while, and when I have gained some credibility I'll sponsor miyyu if she is interested. What do you think... interested? :)

I have about 7 things I want to post about, but I also have about 7 minutes to get out the door if I want to catch my preferred bus. Ack! Life is so much better in Boston. But also, there are these schedule things.
