As a public service announcement, I'd like to share my discovery that you can get [livejournal.com profile] savagelove here as a syndicated feed. It seems to come out a day or so later than it generally updates at Village Voice or The Onion, but... it's so easy when it comes right here.

Me? I'm fine. A little sad that the Red Sox lost. I met Joe Curtatone, one of the Somerville mayoral candidates, this morning; he has nice eyes. (Right now he's an alderman... what a nice word, alderman. If I were one of those I'm not sure I'd want to be mayor.) I also read my Jim's Journal Treasury all the way in to work, which has me in kind of an existential mood. I'd forgotten how good and peaceful that little comic is at its best. I shall take inspiration from that next time I sit down to draw, most likely.

Last night we had dinner at AJ's with Huntress (another tae kwon do chick) and AJ's new roommate K. It was tasty, and after dinner we took pictures of AJ with our digital camera so she'd have something cute to put on eHarmony. HLM got some funny shots, but I think I got the one she'll actually use. She drove us home and we burned a CD of the pictures there, and she looked at our wedding album... it was all very cozy. For the millionth time, I was appreciating how secure I feel with HLM. Being married r0x0r, but not as much as just being with him does. :)

Yesterday someone named Dawn wrote me seeing significant traffic coming from my domain to hers, and wondering if I had linked to her page (and if so, to what). She thanked me for the traffic. I couldn't remember doing so. Feeling mildly paranoid, I logged on to my hosting service to see if any files had been added without my knowledge, but I didn't see anything new. So I wrote back to Dawn proclaiming bafflement and asking if she could see the referring URL on my domain, but no, her hosting service stats only tell her the referring domain... so basically I'm clueless now. (I can't Google over my domain for her domain name to find the link, since Google doesn't find the stuff inside the "a href" tag as far as I can tell. I could do a text search over the files on my laptop at home, but I forgot to last night...) Very odd.

Does anyone know what else I could do to figure it out? I heard that AltaVista has a way to find links to one's page, but when I went there I couldn't find that feature.
