By the way, I've set a record lately for private posts, posts only one person can see, posts only a few people can see, and so forth. It's not you; the world has felt big and confusing lately, on the verge of unbelieveable even. I used to feel this way all the time when I was a little kid.

Today felt nice though. Today I got my annual review. Those are not always fun, but this time my only complaint was the lack of negative feedback... if things are so great, what am I supposed to be working on improving, huh? (I can think of a million things I ought to be working on improving.) Oh well, I like the phrase universally respected, I like it a great deal. I liked ready to take on more technical leadership as well. Happy wiggles and warm fuzzies! :)

[livejournal.com profile] flexagon: What I want to do eventually is be a technical team leader, like Dan the Cat has been until recently.
Silver Fox (laughing slightly, looking ostentatiously at watch): How about starting, ohhhh, about...
[livejournal.com profile] flexagon (also laughing): No!

And in news almost as lovely, I'm going to trapeze school again on Monday afternoon! It'll be my second time flying, and I'll be with two first-time beginners ([livejournal.com profile] heisenbug and a new friend I'm making at work). Even if it can't be as great as last time, I still plan to have a lot of fun. I just adore the surreal setting, with the trapeze in the jelly-bean landscape and the laser light show.

A long time ago I started to do this meme I picked up from [livejournal.com profile] witch_kat, where you put some electronic music system on
shuffle and list the first line or two of lyrics from the first 25
songs that come up. You ask your friends to identify the songs
(without search engines), and as they're correctly identified you mark
them in bold. Found this in my drafts on gmail and realized I never
posted it. So here are my songs -- the first 25 that actually had
recognizable English lyrics and you'd have a shot at getting, anyway.
Have fun!

suede
you always felt like suede
there are days I feel your twin

felt in a kiss
cannot resist
