Play for today

Today I passed my barely-there beading skills on to a new friend. (A new cryptographer friend. She is cool.) I provided instructions, pliers, and of course some demonstration...

• Both pairs of leaf earrings are from the same way-too-busy pair of earrings I bought from Claire's last week... and I still have pieces left.
• The black earrings were made from two pairs of earrings I didn't especially care for -- but I liked the dangly bit of one pair and the hook (with black bead) on the other pair.
• The ones on the far right were made from an old necklace (I only bought the red beads).
• The pearl necklace came out better than I had hoped for. It's probably a Christmas present, but I'll probably wear it a few times before giving it away.
