Two days and three hours
Jul. 18th, 2007 08:14 pmIt's true. Not only have some copies been shipped early, but Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has leaked and can be found on BitTorrent... digital photos of every single page (and a hand and some gray corporate carpet).
My guess is that this is going to be great for book sales, overall, because people will get awful headaches trying to read the book from blurry photos, and the notoriety/mystery factor is excellent. Much as it tempts me, though, I want to wait... I want to feel it, I want to smell that new-book smell, I want to be one of millions of people reading it for the first time all on the same day.
