- Showering is a rather utilitarian affair now that all my products are unscented. I didn't think I was in it for the sniffs, but maybe to some extent I was, because I never lose track of time in there anymore.
- Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the best days for unsubscribing from a million email lists.
- Helios fed me a persimmon, which I had never had before. Looks like a tomato, tastes like a mild papaya!? And then he got adorably smug about feeding me a new fruit.
- Booster shot yesterday! Layering Pfizer over Moderna. Sadly, unsurprisingly, my right arm has no desire to take all my weight today. :(
- Speaking of such things though, I want to recommend the Handstandcast to you fellow handbalancers -- ok maybe this is mostly
justplainuniverse. I have a bit more patience for rambly podcasts now that I'm rarely in a hurry and I like Emmett Louis, and I like handstand geekery, so there we are. They have an episode on the press, and another on "when it just doesn't work". - I also listened to The Rules Do Not Apply by Ariel Levy, and liked it a lot better than Female Chauvinist Pigs even though the story is a trainwreck -- I'm still pretty unapologetically third-wave, and Ariel writes beautifully and unapologetically about people behaving badly and getting deeply unlucky. So the two of us have something in common.
- I'm mostly done with Xmas shopping, though not quite.
