Did you hear about the constipated mathematician? He used a pencil to work it out.

EW.

I'd just like to say that I'm done with my second problem set for my #$^%@ algorithms / math class. I used OpenOffice to work it out, rather than a pencil, so that I could edit large swaths of mistakes and not have to recopy anything when I was done, and it's six pages long. Typed. Speaking of math. Also single-spaced. :P

Okay stuff, but all in all, I felt more accomplished when I was doing drop-backs in the gym on Saturday and actually managing to stand back up from them.
Drop... back, shift weight, shift weight and stannnnnd... up. Stumbling is optional.

I also broke my squat record yesterday, doing 5 reps at 165 lb. It was cool -- a really strong day came out of nowhere. Right now I'd trade some of that strength for flexibility gain and fat loss, if I could, so I'm not quite as pumped about that as I was the first time I squatted 150 or even 130. Still, something to feel good about.

Your math homework might give me nightmares tonight.

As in "shouldn't a done it, but I'm constipated, couldn't give a shit?"

That problem set sounds half atrocious, half impressive. Have I mentioned lately how glad I am that I am probably never going to take another MIT class?
