Shopping, visiting, traipsing weekend

Hilarious. I got back from buying this Nomads tunic on Sunday, and came back to find this Athleta one in an open browser tab. I'd say I did well on that. ^_^

I had an excellent weekend, traipsing down Newbury Street with childhood friend say_shazam and then snuggling around Harvard Square with norwoodbridge. On top of that, there were acro workshops in which I actually had fun. Twisting from high bird to shoulder-to-shoulder is totally a thing! So what with the traipsing and shopping I'm now rather poorer, but also happy, and all my Christmas shopping is done.

This week though...! Ugh, it's fired, despite a nice time out with many friends tonight. I've had this LJ draft open since Sunday night and not managed to hit the "Post" button. Post, post.

This whole month is fired. I definitely like the tunic you ordered better than the Athleta one. What color did you end up getting?

You got it, whole month fired. No problem.

I got the light gray, which is really very small black and white threads spun together. There must be a term for this sort of color or yarn, but I don't know it.... marled, maybe? Anyway, I chose it over a darker, totally solid charcoal because it better shows what pieces are cut sideways to the knit grain, which the makers were really artistic about and lends a subtle color-blocking effect.
