Needle in a... needle factory
Apr. 23rd, 2003 09:25 amTick tock tick tock. Yesterday morning was so slow but this one is going fast. I have to interview a couple of potential interns today, neither of whom bothered to get their resume down to anything like 1 page long. Annoys the hell out of me.
I just mailed off a letter to the parents of a very old, very good friend of mine who's disappeared off the earth in the last couple of years (and by disappeared I mean I haven't heard from him, his other friends haven't heard from him, the company he helped found and used to work for doesn't know where he is and is still getting his snail mail, there's no mention of him on the web... really disappeared). Their phone no longer works but I'm hoping they still have the PO box. I addressed the envelope to "XXX family or current resident," pleaded for info, any info and included a SASE. It's totally possible that something really bad has happened--it's not like the family would even know who we, the college friends, are, to tell us about it. Anyway... I hope I hear back from them.
