A post that is not showing up on my friends page, or on my friends' friends pages. A post that you should read! A post that recommended music. A post that is here, or here if you wouldn't have clicked my "Weekend wrapup" cut. Sheesh... it must've really confused the LJ servers that I let my client sit overnight before I was able to successfully post. :(

I went and bought books today, including The Wreck of the River of Stars for an online book club I occasionally dip into. Haven't started it yet, but I certainly swoon for the title.

Ah yes, the gymRat. :) Yeah, sorry for the (as I'm sure it's been perceived, and I knew it would be) lack of encouragement. I must confess though, I've found commenting on other people's exercise routines to be one of the prime ways of getting in trouble on LJ. I especially get in trouble with people who start and stop. And I've seen you start and stop before, and I don't need trouble. :/

Of course there's a fine line between staying out of trouble and witholding support, which I don't mean to do, and I do think it's awesome that you're working out again at all. I'd love to see it become a permanent, sustainable part of your life... and actually, THAT'S what I'd jump up and down in my support of. I know you're in the annoying "sore all the time" first stages and don't want this lecture right now, but it's gotta be sustainable to be worth anything. So... do it, keep with it, consider doing evening or lunchtime instead of morning if 5:20 is too much for you (I for one could never do that), and if you have questions about anything just ask and I will definitely be among the ones answering even if it's just to say "I dunno". Okay? :)

sustainable part of your life - This is what I'm working towards. Zeus has been going for about a year now. I need help when it comes to working out, I need a gym partner for encouragement, training, etc. Zeus moved closer to me when he bought his house and now, I have a gym partner. His wife is also a personal trainer as well as a nutritionist, so, I have all the information I need.

I realized I stopped / started in the past, but really, that was my first attempt at this whole gymRat thing. That was in my house, with the stupid bowflex thing and it just didn't work for me for the obvious reasons. When I workout, I need out of my house, lest I find some excuse to put it off.

The 5:20 thing doesn't bother me. Sure, it's early in the morning, but I'll get used to it. I sort of already am. Today, I'm not as quite as sore as I was over the weekend and to be totally honest, I've been looking forward to working out lately. Zeus and I are signing up at the gym, I even got a discounted rate since his wife works there.

No worries though. I'll just post progress, but otherwise keep the gym stuff to myself.

Awww, no need to keep it to yourself, I always like to read it. I just may not be able to comment all that much without digging myself a hole of some kind. Weird that exercise can be such an explosive topic, but yeesh... it sure can, in this circle.

Even so, I will always support anyone's effort to be a better person in any way--and especially physically, because I'm shallow and I like my friends to be hot. :)

Hmmm, I've been reading back entries starting from when I left, and that post showed up fine on my friends page. Guess they fixed whatever was wrong.
