Sun Certified... woooot.

As of about an hour ago I am a Sun Certified Java programmer. I scored slightly lower on the test than I'd've liked, but still came in way above the pass/fail line. So after giving myself a couple of cursory kicks for the questions I missed, and wondering what they were, I turned to the much more pertinent question of where to have lunch. :)

How nice to have the resume padding... because when you have a brand new job that you intend to stay at for a few years, you know that's when you really need it. Heh. There'll probably be a new certification for Java 1.5 that I'll have to take an upgrade test for, before I get around to leaving Politic Frog. And yet, I'm glad I did it. I'm glad I'm finally showing enough interest in my profession to do things like this.

An Entity bean came into his local bar on Monday night, and his eyes fell on a beautiful Session bean.

He went over to her, gave her some line, but was denied.
The next day the barman grinned when he saw the Entity once again show up, and hit on the Session bean. Once again, denied.

On the third night, after getting dissed again, the Entity came and sat at the bar. The barmen gave him a drink and said... 'You are definately persistent'.

Session Bean walks into a bar and asks for a Jack Daniels on the rocks...bartender says "I'm afraid I can't serve you any alcohol", and the Session Bean says, "why not ? Are you discriminating against Session Beans ?" and the bartender replies "well, look at the state you're in".
