Pretty amazing grace
May. 27th, 2009 10:24 pmSometimes a person tries and tries to do something, and finally one day they succeed for the first time. How often is that person in a room full of people who know it's her first time, and who burst into genuinely happy-for-her applause?
Yeah, I successfully jumped into crow (from a short down dog) for the first time tonight during a lull in acroyoga class. It felt AWESOME, both the landing and the applause. Thank you, world!

Date: 2009-05-28 05:37 pm (UTC)Crow is this. The idea with the move I just learned is that you start with feet several feet back from hands and jump forward/up onto your arms. The fear, of course, is of doing a faceplant.
