Pretty amazing grace

Sometimes a person tries and tries to do something, and finally one day they succeed for the first time. How often is that person in a room full of people who know it's her first time, and who burst into genuinely happy-for-her applause?

Yeah, I successfully jumped into crow (from a short down dog) for the first time tonight during a lull in acroyoga class. It felt AWESOME, both the landing and the applause. Thank you, world!

(This was good too. Last night. Scary though! I'm told the next step is to pick up the free foot and extend the leg.)

*grin* I feel short too, now that I'm back on the ground!!

Crow is this. The idea with the move I just learned is that you start with feet several feet back from hands and jump forward/up onto your arms. The fear, of course, is of doing a faceplant.
