Happened to be reading ASW yesterday while writing someone a letter about my childhood (argh), which I sometimes look back on and wonder if I could have handled better.
Mostly I regret things I didn't do, except that's an easy regret when one was consistently overcautious. I'm better about regretting things I did now, though mostly avoid regret proper.
I used to regret not experimenting more with women when I was in college, but I don't anymore.
I maybe do regret not walking out of my first job after 3.5 years. I learned my lesson, of course, and ended up in SUCH a great second job that I think staying for another 1.5 years of bitterness worked out well, though.
